Quantitative methods

The objective of this course is to ensure that students acquire, understand and apply quantitative techniques used in business decision-making. Using output from mathematical and statistical models, students will learn to analyze, interpret and derive potential outcomes from quantitative information. The course covers a variety of topics including descriptive statistics, probability distributions, sampling theory, hypothesis testing and linear regression while emphasizing on most useful applications for modeling business problems.
